Frequently Asked Questions

It is our goal to answer the frequently asked questions we have received via email and on social media in regards to the Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering.

No, but if you are, it's an added plus. This conference is open to everyone, but our focus is on Black and Indigenous herbalists and the community that they serve, without apology.

Can I purchase a conference ticket at the door?

There will not be any tickets sold on the day of the event or at the door. Tickets sales end on Sept. 1, 2023 or until sold out, whichever comes first. Please do not show up without a purchased ticket, you will not be permitted inside the conference. Tickets are limited so don't procrastinate!

Is this a family friendly event?

Of course it is! We encourage you to bring your family so that you can learn and grow in your herbal knowledge together. We have a workshop planned for the children and there is plenty of room for them to run around and explore. We do ask that the be supervised by an adult at all times. Children 15 and under can attend the conference at no cost, when accompanied by a paying adult.

All sales are final so they are no refunds. You may transfer your tickets to someone else for a $5 service charge. This is a rain or shine event. If we have to cancel the 2023 Gullah Geechee Herbal conference due to an unexpected emergency or public health crisis, we will convert the conference to a virtual event.
